Almost all of our wood fence is Cedar. Cedar fence has a natural decay resistant property, and can last upwards of ten or fifteen years left completely unmaintained. It also ages to a nice silver color and is typically visibly unaffected by algae or mold as long as it has an opportunity to dry in the sun occasionally.
